Oregon Coast Beach Couple Shoot [Utah Wedding Photographer]

Can I just start by saying how much I LOVE the Oregon coast? It’s truly my favorite place in the world. The Pacific Northwest has my heart. I was lucky enough to live in Vancouver, Washington while I did an internship right after college for about 7 months and took lots of trips out to the coast (it was only 1 1/2 hours away). Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City is one of my favorite beaches. I went there once with a group of 6 friends and we all crammed in a small hotel room overnight then explored Cape Kiwanda the next day. We had a fire on the beach, a few of my friends actually got in the water (brrrrrr), one of them tried to snowboard down the huge sand mountain (unsuccessfully haha), and I explored the rocky cliffs barefoot which was AMAZING.

My friend, Aleisha, and I went out to the Oregon coast at the end of April and I was so excited to do a couples session there. Tawni is a photographer out in Oregon and it was fun to be able to connect and meet her and her husband, Leevi, on the coast at sunset for some beautiful pictures!

One of my favorite parts was when they kneeled in the sand and a freezing cold wave came crashing up and got them soaked! Leevi’s face is priceless.
