Utah Photo Locations: Tibble Fork Reservoir
Located about 20 minutes up American Fork Canyon, Tibble Fork Reservoir is a beautiful and easily accessible location for photos. It features a stunning view of Mt. Timpanogos as well as 360 mountain views. Surroundinig the reservoir are pine trees, aspens, and others. There is a little trail that goes around the whole reservoir giving you a lot of options for photo spots. Behind the parking lot is a large hill that you can hike up. At the top of the hill you’ll catch other mountain views and get a great view of the reservoir and the best part - the parking lot is hidden behind the hill!
In early June, small yellow flowers pop up in the hilly field area behind the reservoir and the summer brings lots of vibrant greens. The fall is beautiful with the leaves changing and winter brings lots of snow. The pines get dusted with snow so it’s one of the better winter locations, especially because it’s easily accessible year round.
There is a $6 fee to get into the canyon (yes - parking patrol does check and ticket) but if you have a National Park pass (aka America the Beautiful Pass), that’ll get you in without the fee!
